Here's a zark rifle I can purchase that would really fit with our style. Bee and I could do a lot with this to make it work. What do you think?

looks great ,,, :-) be carefull about reading all you can and all you cant do with purchase , the Stores are for game dev, and just not 100% sure about the rest ... i i wanted to buy some tree and Grass stuff ... and you cant shell nothing after ,,, it was about making map ..but maybe use and share free yes ... just saying that ..
i guess you can shell a map only if it is 100% contant yours .. but the gun will be free in that sence ... i would like the creat a 100% mine gun i could shell but thats a dream :-) lol

i am wondering if you could get answer from the Lady at Epic ... your freind .. If content , source files ( Max, 3ds,obj ) from ut2008, ut2004 could be distributed to the community ... never sean nothing on this ,,, but even using these lets say old mesh .. with the new textures and all would still be bad ass ... i think it is a waste that all must be redone .. static mesh wize

I will ask Flak and see what she says. It would be a shame to not be able to add our version to the market as a Zark. The biggest thing I need to know is how the server works and how the mutators are loaded. More specifically, do the mutators and maps have to be listed on the marketplace or can they just be loaded from our server. If the latter is true, then I would still like to purchase that rifle in order for us to get a zark in game to play with. It will also help with getting our C++ code perfect. This code can be transferred to any gun we create from scratch in the future.

read the Weapons tutorial , you must share it , there should be a button for it ,,, if you server is sharing then all will have ,,, or share with community , i still have to get back in to it ... but i did make a weapon before that shoots crazy . and there is a sharing option as i remember ,,, i need to get back in to this ... i have a almost done weapon in Max , remember , the orange scope one ,,, that will be my first GUN ...

yea I'd think as UT4 is supposed to be a community driven effort -there would be lots of sharing of ,well anything that would help the end goal
to make UT4 the best version ever! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I spent all day watching videos and how-to's for getting a weapon from 3ds Max into UE4. I'm learning quite a bit and once I have the total process, I'll post it here. I did play around with it and was able to put the Stealth in the editor and fool around. UE4 was a bit scary at first, but after getting into it, it's totally amazing. I love the fact that the hands will attach to the weapon perfectly. When you put the gun away, it will equip to your back just like Gears of War.

I will say one thing. There's no longer a need for the ActorX plugin for 3ds Max. UE4 uses the native 3ds Max export option .FBX.
